Information

Practice Times: After school until 5:00 every school day.

Runners will meet in the South Gym after school to dress, and store book bags. Bring a snack for after school.

Pick-Up Location: Parents pick-up runners at 5:00 near the East side of the South Gym.

Practice and Home Meets will be held at Craig Park.

Parent Meeting: All athletic programs at GMS are required to have a parent meeting. Our meeting will be Tuesday, Aug. 17^th after practice. The meeting will be from 4:45 to 5:15 in the South Gym. We will discuss team rules, distribute team schedule, sign-up for team snacks & drinks, and answer questions.

Saturdays:

Aug. 14^th Practice at Coach’s House at 10:00am; Pool Party until 1:00pm
Aug. 28^th Old Town Run at Isom Elementary School. Check-In 8:00 to 8:45am Start time 9:00am. There is a $6.00 entry fee, and you receive a T-shirt if you enter before Aug. 25^th.
Sept. 11^th Brown County Eagle Classic - This is a large meet where the bus will leave at 6:30am. There are several races and everyone will run.
Oct. 2^nd State Meet at Carmel. Only top runners should go. The school does not pay for entry or transportation to this meet. Cost $14 or $15 and parents car pool. Details will be given later.
